Dear Readers…
Starting in January 2009 with The Stranger and Tessa Jones, the adventures of a whole new branch of the Bravo family will be coming to a bookstore near you.
These are the stories of the children of James Bravo, who had seven sons, only one of which, Davis, stuck around to run the family empire in San Antonio. Davis and his wife, Aleta, had seven sons and two daughters and I intend to tell the stories off all of Davis’s children. Eventually, I hope to get around the children of James’s other sons who moved on to make their own fortunes.
But first things first.
In this area, you will find a Texas Bravos family tree and some information about this branch of the family and their long-standing feud with the proud Cabrera family in an essay called, The Bravo dynasty in Texas.
Yes, I still have more stories to tell about the sons and daughters of bad Blake Bravo. Especially, I haven’t forgotten Bowie, who had way too many problems to be a hero when I wrote the stories of his brothers, Buck, Brett and Brand. Bowie will get his story. In time.
But right now, I’m so excited to be writing about this branch of the family. I hope you enjoy reading these books as much as I am loving writing them.
Yours,
